Pasta was so-so, you can make it by your own and even better, the onsen tea makkiato was really good, recommend it, coffee was very smooth, but set for 2000 is too much, they have WiFi

This is not to be missed. The cafe overlooks a lovely park and trees and the architectural Japanese design and openness of the cafe is beautiful. The food, coffee, and beer is excellent both in taste and experience. And, the library is gorgeous. It is filled with manga books that my teenager loved!

An absolutely beautiful spot. The food was delicious - we had scones with jam, butter and honey. The open air venue was wonderful and caught the breeze. You can sit and read a book, have tea and breakfast or lunch, and enjoy the sun or shade depending on your preference. This is a hidden gem, a little off the beaten path and well worth a stop. We plan to come back to Kusatsu in part because of this shop. The attached bookstore is also a nice addition (Japanese books only at the moment.)

Very delicious food (I got the baked curry chicken) and teas. It can be a bit chaotic because there's not many tables. Some of the staff can be a bit brusque, while others are very friendly.

Really nice and comfortable with a sunny open courtyard and good coffee. The coffee is slightly bitter but not burnt at all. They take credit cards including Discover, which is somewhat rare in Japan. Also in this area many of the shops and restaurants don't take plastic at all.

Went there on a snowy day, the interior was very calming, warm and cozy. My husband and I ordered hot caramel coffee machiatto and hot royal milk tea which stood up to our expectations, they were served quickly, very warm, creamy and delicious. I am very particular with my milk tea, so this is very satisfying for me. Plus the teapot they used really good, no dripping milk teas lol. Overall very satisfied with the service and beverages.
